It was coooold Saturday morning, well cold for south Texas, but a lot of fun! We met our long time friends Troy & Sara and their adorable kids Kyle & Emma at Tom Bass park in Houston to take some pictures of their family. The kids were such troopers. It was early, the grass was wet, we kept promising they would get to play on the playground after taking “one more picture”… and yet they kept smiling:)We had a great time catching up with old friends and playing with the kids, plus we learned a few facts about dinosaurs. Thank you guys. We hope you love the photos!!

Ok, I shouldn’t even be telling you all this but I know Spiderman. THE Spiderman:)When he’s not shooting webs, he goes by the name Bryson… I’ve known Bryson & his sister Kylie’s mom since I was 3 years old. Long story short, we ended up living about 3 miles apart in Franklin Tennessee believe it or not. Her kids are absolutely adorable and we had the privilege of taking some fall photos of them and their favorite one year old friend Houston. The kids were a lot of fun, especially when dressed up in their Halloween costumes… I mean fighting crime as Spiderman and Supergirl. Hope you guys love the pics as much as we love y’all!!!

It couldn’t of been a more beautiful October day for Richard & Ginger to become man and wife. The day started at a salon in Hendersonville where Ginger and her bridesmaids began to prepare for the day. We spent several hours hanging out with girls and got to witness what a very special time it was between the ladies. They wrote speeches, discussed the events of the day, talked about what Richard and the boys were probably doing and really seemed to enjoy each others company. We then headed over to the Cragfont Mansion in Castalian Springs to prepare for the ceremony where the girls stayed hidden until it was time.

It was a lovely, peaceful outdoor ceremony and Ginger looked stunning in her wedding dress. After many hugs and congratulations to the new couple, everyone headed to the Bluegrass Country Club in Hendersonville for the reception. The venue was gorgeous and we could tell how much thought and preparation went into planning the entire day. Richard gave what is hands-down the most heart-felt speech we’ve had the pleasure of hearing to date. You’re the man Richard! We can’t put into words what a great time we had getting to know this loving family and we feel blessed to have been a part of Richard & Ginger’s wedding. We wish you all the best!!

If you haven’t already seen them or you just can’t get enough of these two, be sure to check out Richard & Ginger’s engagement photos which were shot at Richard’s parent’s home in Gallatin.

Last week we got to spend the afternoon with an amazing family. We met up with Montoya and her kids Aurionne, Auzhane, Antonio & little Makiya at The Factory in Franklin TN and just walked around, laughed, learned some jokes and took some pictures. The kids range in age from 3 to 19 so it was a lot of fun to watch them interact with each other. Sisters Aurionne & Auzhane are just beautiful! Brother Antonio “Tony” kept us laughing and Makiya, the youngest, couldn’t of been cuter and was the most well behaved 3 year old I’ve been around. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Montoya and her loving family. We hope you guys love the pictures! And a special thanks to Tony for helping us lug our equipment around!!

And the final image captured by our assistant for the day Tony.

Nikki and Brandon were married at the incredible Rose Mont historical home in Gallatin, TN last Saturday. The weather forecast was calling for rain, but God had other plans. Blue skies prevailed and the day couldn’t have been better. They had a beautiful ceremony on the front porch of the home and then moved to the back for a great reception with friends and family. A highlight of the day was when Nikki arrived at the end of the aisle in an antique Plymouth convertible. The crowd gasped and even though I (B.F.) knew it was coming, it caused me to well up with tears. Nikki and Brandon, if you guys are reading this from your honeymoon, we hope you are having a blast and enjoy the photos. We truly enjoyed being a part of your wedding.

If you haven’t already seen them, you can check out Nikki & Brandon’s engagement photos which were shot at the historical Cragfont home in Gallatin.

The day started early, at 7am.

Searching for the best light to do Nikki’s makeup, Nikki & her friend & makeup artist found the perfect setting on the balcony of the old home.
