Rice U CrossFit took a field trip to CrossFit West Houston on Saturday to compete in Open WOD 12.1.
The workout: Each athlete is to complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of: BURPEES
The nitty gritty details… This workout begins from the standing position. The Athlete will move from flat on the ground to touching an object with both hands that is 6 inches above their max reach. Score is total reps completed.
Curt, Wilson and Ledo competed from Rice and all did a-mazing! I would say they all walked away from WOD12.1 with their heads held high… and only a mildly sevear case of the ‘burpee cough’ to remember what all they had done. Looking forward (and just a bit terrified) to what WOD12.2 will bring. See ya next week!!
