HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 000postheadermakerScobWelcome the Scobercea family back to the blog! You’ve seen most of these guys here over the years. Blakley and I have known Raz and Emma for about 10 years and recently got to get together with the whole Scobercea family. The shoot was a blast and it was great to see the love this family has for each other. See y’all soon!HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 001HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 002HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 003HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 004HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 005HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 006HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 007HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 008HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 009HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 010HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 011HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 012HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 013HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 015HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 016HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 017HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 018HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 019HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 020HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 021HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 022HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 023HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 024HoustonFamilyPhotographerScob 025

One thing is for sure, when Blake and I get to hang out there will be a lot of Seinfeld references and laughs. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them twice before when they were just a family of 3. Well Noah has a baby brother now and they couldn’t be more excited. I had a fun time taking these photos and am already looking forward to next time. new site

We are so incredibly excited to debut the new framedbyfletcher photography website to you all . . . finally!  It has been such a fun, exciting, annoying, frustrating, exhausting . . . process that we thought we’d blog about what it took to create this masterpiece so that you too could be a part of it.

Step one was to create a new logo.  We worked with an incredible designer, Wendy of BrokenBoxDesigns.  The process of conveying our vision to someone who did not know us was at times challenging but in the end she absolutely nailed it!  We heart our characters so much.  Thank you thank you thank you Wendy!!

Little did I know, that was the easy part.  Step two was creating the actual website.  Our original website was strictly HTML, my wheelhouse.  For our new site, we partnered with the awesome folks at prophotoblogs and wordpress.  I have messed around a little bit with wordpress in the past and frankly, we don’t get along but I was determined to make it work this time.  I’ll be honest, at times I wanted to give up.  At times I wanted to write them a strongly worded letter about how I think things should work.  At times I wanted to throw my computer off my desk (but if you read our Jonathan & Blakley page, you’d know that I heart apple and that would have been a shame).  But in the end, what became of the frustration, sweat and tears is, well, beautiful.  Since sometimes it is hard to fully appreciate the emotions another goes through, we thought we would re-create what has been going on over the last month . . .  please don’t laugh too hard.

And now it is live.  We cannot believe it and really don’t even know how it happened but now that it’s done we hope you all enjoy looking around.  All of the old blog posts are here.  Feel free to look at them again, leave some comments (that is the only thing we could not bring with us) and check out the new website!  Check back as much as you can stand it.  We will be entertaining you with new blog posts often.  – Blakley
